"Criminal Minds," the TV drama, includes pithy quotes from noted
authors in every episode: once near the beginning and once near the
end. The episode that ran about 10 days ago quoted a certain
Mr. Partridge: "You may leave school, but it never leaves you."

It's all in the subject line isn't it?

Earlier this month I watched this program and was surprised to see XTC on
the list.

Not surprisingly, Chris Butler (Purple K'nif, The Waitresses) was on the
segment and called them the "greatest band of all time".

Who can argue?

Re: From: Susan Rubino - Regarding "Bags of Fun With Buster"

Hi Susan,

There are, in fact, at least three versions: the demo (available on
YouTube), the a-side of the 7" and it's b-side, the Scrotal Scratch Mix
version. At least one of these is scheduled for inclusion of Bric A Brac
Breakfast, which Andy will be releasing, via APE, as a companion to Rag And
Bone Buffet sometime soon.

Kind regards,

Darryl

Re: Erik V. McCrea - XTC songs

Hi Erik. Firstly, don't waste your money on "From A-Z": it's a bootleg, the
sound quality is variable and most of the tracks are available officially on
Andy's Fuzzy Warbles set or as downloads via www.burningshed.com/store/ape/

Secondly, most if not all of the rest of the tracks you are after will
appear shortly, via Andy and APE, on the reissue of Rag N Bone Buffet and
its second volume, Bric A Brac Breakfast.

Be patient!

Darryl

More news from Twitter...I asked Nick Heyward about whether or not he might
like to collaborate with Andy. His response, in Twit-speak: "Of course, i'm
a follower. Only reason Haircut recorded at The Manor. Only learned
harmonica because he got one out live!"

Part of last night's dream: I was walking in an enormous hall, the lobby of
a very lavish bank. Along the length of the hall's center, on pedestals
about 30' apart (presented almost like the living statues you find in
touristy areas), stood solo musicians playing random compositions. Hearing a
familiar tune, I turned around to see a woman playing an instrumental,
acoustic guitar version of aKnights In Shining Karmaa and was really
impressed by her playing. Interpretation: there's an appalling lack of sex
in my dreams.
