[THIS SPACE INTENTIONALLY LEFT BLANK]
Orpheus has divine blood.
He's shot in the thigh in Denver on the fourth of July in a drive-by.
He limps two blocks to the ‘Y’.
In the bath he watches the mouth of the wound expel the bullet and seal itself
with a little burst of bubbles like a mollusc withdrawing into its fort.
If he cut his throat would song gush out?
Divine blood of music.
Eurydice was music.
