   Andy: “Finally a song from 1990 that fell out from between ‘The Ugly Underneath’ and ‘Holly Up On Poppy’ timewise. I remember kicking it about half-heartedly in rehearsals of Nonsuch but something was bugging me about it. Was it too related to ‘Seagulls Screaming’ musically, lyrically? Something didn't click. But hey, it sounds fine to my ears now, not a bad song at all. In fact is this one of my better lyrics ever? Why do seasides in Britain do this to me? With their sense of forced jollity and monumental decay. They are places of surreality, disappointment and fractured friendships. One long self abusement arcade. A look at the dream until the coin in the telescope drops with the sign ‘Out of Time’, and we are. See you on seven and eight.”
